How do i get the latest patch for Nintendo Switch (physical version)?
Make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the Internet, then the latest Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall patch will be downloaded automatically.
If this is not the case you may have deactivated automatic updates on your Nintendo Switch.

The latest patch version number is 1.0.1
(You can also check that you have the latest patch in game on the start screen. There is a date in the lower right corner which must be 20250211)

How can i change the difficulty?
The difficulty level can be changed at any time as long as you are not in an ongoing battle.
The Easy difficulty level is recommended for children.
For more experienced players or adults, the difficulty levels Normal, Hard and Very Hard are available.
Note: The tutorial levels all have the same difficulty for didactic reasons.
Mana
Collecting Mana has the following benefits:
- Your creature is healed
- States like “On Fire” or “Poisened” are removed
- You can execute more powerful skills that cost mana as resource
How do I load a backup save game?
Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall automatically saves up to two backup saves about every 15 minutes.
This allows you to go back to an earlier save state if a problem occurs.
To load a backup save you have to do the following:
- Select the menu item “Choose game”
- Select the slot you want to load a backup from
- Select the desired backup save
- Select “Use backup savegame” by holding the button for some time
